Great Video! I am planning to bike from Cadiz to Sevilla to Santiago on the Via de La Plata in 2025! It ill be my 3rd camino and 1st camino on bike!

We walked it in May. We saw less than 5 people a day many days, sometimes no other pilgrims at all until we reached the albergues or bars in the little towns. It was much warmer too.And the Spring flowers were stunning!!!We stayed in the same room in Monesterio😂

If I recall when I was walking the VDLP, Monasterio was a main centre for the storage and production of Jamon Iberico which accounts for only 10% of jamon consumption, the other 90% is Jamon Serrano, a much cheaper but stil delicious ham.

Central Spain is more beautiful than I thought it would be.

My friend and I stayed in the Parador on our first night in Santiago. It was literally "from the wilderness to the palace" in how we felt on arrival. Loving your videos. Beautifully filmed and edited. Bien hecho!

Great video Efren, I love that you are showing other pilgrimages outside Spain and Camino de Santiago. I loved Japan when I visited for two weeks, you have definitely got me interested in a return visit for a pilgrimage!

Hope you enjoyed the Parador! I’m going to try rain jacket and ruck sack cover next time and forget about my legs. I’ve used the Altus atmospheric for the Portuguese in June. I needed it for 6 days of 13 and I was wetter inside than outside. It was like a homemade sauna; even with the hood down and neck open it was like a shower inside! Definitely won’t take it next time.

I've caminoed a lot. In my experience the best is an expensive Goretex jacket with no lining so you can choose how warm it should be, and dry bags in your rucksack. I don't care if my bottom half gets soaked. Looking forward to see if you stop at my unmanned tea stand in Vilacha at 92km :)

I wrap a cord around my pancho if it's windy.
